I answered:This girl obviously was an important part of his life if they lasted six months, so make sure he is ready to move on to focusing on you guys before you start another relationship. Now for the girl, you can’t blame her for being upset. Maybe she liked him more than he liked her. Maybe she devoted more of her time into the relationship and into making it work. She’s not over him. If you guys truly are not friends at all, but merely acquaintances and you honestly don’t care what this girl’s opinion about you is, then go for it. You just have to remember what this girl is going to think of you and if it’s truly going to bother you.
